Our Plans, Payments & Key Terms
Limited-Scope Free Plan
Fee:
$0, and there is nothing to buy.
What it is:
A free tax plan for business owners doing $1 million or more in revenue: our standard plan, a set framework applied to your numbers, covering the entity, compensation, retirement and timing decisions most businesses your size should be looking at. You keep it whether or not you work with us.
Who qualifies:
A business with annual revenue of $1,000,000 or more, and a call with our team.
What you send us:
Your most recent filed business tax return and a current profit and loss statement.
Delivery:
In full to everyone who qualifies, within 24 business hours after the Start Date or the follow-up call.
Custom Tax Plan, if you want it:
A one-time plan under a separate Order that applies our planning framework to your actual facts (your ownership structure, your last three filed years and your plans for the next two years), with modeling and a written implementation roadmap, without ongoing planning or implementation support. Your fee depends on complexity and is stated in your written quote and Order. Ask us for a written quote for your case. If you later accept a full annual tax planning and tax preparation Order, the Custom Tax Plan fee you paid is credited toward that full fee in the later Order. The credit reduces the fee payable under that Order; it is not a payment under it and is not refunded in cash if that Order ends early. The full annual package has its own separate quote and Order.
Deposit or Prepayment
Amount:
As stated in your Deposit Order or on our checkout page, a deposit toward your plan or its full fee.
Credit:
In full to your plan, shown in your Order under “Paid before this Order”; we send that Order within 10 business days after payment.
Refund:
In full if we do not, if you decline it, or if you have not accepted it within 14 days after we send it; within 30 days, to your original payment method or, if it cannot accept the refund, by check or bank transfer.
To decline:
sales@nthdegreecpas.com or the Client Portal.

Key Terms Summary
This page summarizes the key terms of the Client Agreement Version 1, 2026 between you and 3 Peaks Accounting Services, PLLC, registered with the Washington State Board of Accountancy as Nth Degree CPAs, PLLC (firm license 5392). It covers every service in every Order you accept; your Order lists the services, fees, when each fee is earned and who pays. Please read the Client Agreement before you accept; if the two differ, it governs.
What you see before you pay.
Your Order shows the total price for the first 12 months, the price of each phase, the number and amount of the charges, how renewal works and how to cancel. Paying up front or in installments never makes a fee earned sooner; your Order’s Earning Schedule decides when each fee is earned. Recurring charges need their own authorization. A fee change needs 14 to 30 days’ written notice, and you may cancel before it takes effect, or within 14 days after the first new charge. The one exception is a deposit or full payment made before your engagement letter. Its checkout page or form shows the amount, the plan it is credited to and when it comes back, and nothing else is charged until you sign.
Renewal.
An Order for recurring services lasts 12 months and renews automatically for another 12 months, charged to the payment method you authorized, unless you cancel before the renewal date. It renews automatically only while you have not declined our email provider. 30 to 45 days before renewal we send the next year’s terms, fee and last day to cancel.
Cancelling.
Online, with the Cancel button in the Client Portal or the cancellation email we send you, or by email to sales@nthdegreecpas.com. No call or reason is needed; we confirm within one business day. Either of us may end an Order mid-term on one month’s notice.
Refunds.
Anything you prepaid for work not yet earned is refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days after the Order ends. A deposit or full payment made before your engagement letter is credited to your plan, refunded in full if we do not send the letter within 10 business days, or if you decline it or have not signed it within 14 days after we send it, and refunded within 30 days to your original payment method or, if it cannot accept the refund, by check or bank transfer.
Free offers.
A Free Lookback or Limited-Scope Free Plan costs $0, needs no payment details, never renews and ends when we deliver it. No consent is a condition of it; if you decline a company whose systems we use, we deliver it another way. You keep what we deliver, and we tell you in writing what we find, either way.
Your information.
By accepting, you agree that the kinds of companies the Client Agreement lists (for example, our tax software, client portal, email and billing providers) may receive your information for the purposes it states; you may decline any of them. Any other use or disclosure of your tax information needs a separate consent you sign, and no such consent is ever a condition of a service. Free-offer documents reach our portal or storage provider only under our optional free-offer disclosure consent.
Your records.
We never hold your records over unpaid fees, and we keep records for seven years after the year we complete the work.
Limits on liability.
Our liability for any one claim is limited to the greatest of the fees for that service in the prior 12 months, the fees under its Order, and $2,500. You can recover tax penalties, interest and the cost of correcting our error from us, up to that limit. Neither of us is liable for lost profits or other indirect or consequential losses. A different limit applies to a data security claim. The limit never applies to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, deliberate disclosure of your information, or a Consumer Protection Act claim the law does not allow us to limit. You may ask us for a higher limit before you accept.
Disputes.
We first talk for 30 days, then try mediation in King County, Washington, then go to court in King County. We share the mediator’s fees. We may go straight to court to collect fees you did not dispute on time. Washington law applies. There is no arbitration, and either of us may use small claims court.
Changes.
A change that reduces your rights applies to you only if you accept it, never through your silence.
