Courtney joined Nth Degree CPAs at the beginning of 2019 with the desire to work for a growing firm that was focused on helping small businesses with their financial goals. She has a passion for organizing, simplifying, and analyzing the little details to solve the big problems.
Courtney grew up near Spokane, WA. She loves to learn and to teach others things that she finds interesting. In college, she found that accounting was one of these things and really enjoyed helping her friends who didn’t love it quite as much as she did.
She attended Washington State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with an emphasis in Accounting. In addition, she completed a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) in Taxation at the University of Washington.
She spent the first couple years of her career at KPMG and gained invaluable experience in accounting and tax. While there, she realized one of her favorite parts of being an accountant was helping people understand it more and started seeking a firm that worked with smaller companies. This led her to Nth Degree CPAs where she’s since been happily assisting small business owners with their accounting and taxes and learning something new every day.
When she’s not at work you’ll find Courtney spending time with her husband, Nick, and their dog, Mia. She enjoys traveling, reading, seeing friends and family, and finding new spots to explore around their home.
